The Green Chromis is one of the most popular schooling fish in the saltwater hobby. With its shimmering blue-green body, peaceful temperament, and constant mid-water activity, this fish brings motion and life to tanks of all sizes. Chromis do great in groups and are an excellent choice for beginners and experienced reefers alike.

Behavior & Personality

Green Chromis are active swimmers that spend their day cruising the upper/mid water column. They are peaceful community fish and mix well with clownfish, gobies, wrasses, tangs, and most reef-safe species. Keeping 3 or more helps reduce aggression and creates a natural schooling effect.

Feeding

They readily accept a wide variety of foods:

• Mysis shrimp

• Brine shrimp

• Marine pellets

• Flake food

• Copepods

• Small meaty frozen blends
