Description:
The Six Line Wrasse is a colorful and active reef-safe fish, easily recognized by its six vivid blue horizontal stripes running along a bright orange body. Known for its curiosity and constant movement, this hardy wrasse helps control pests like flatworms and small bristleworms, making it both beautiful and beneficial in reef systems.
Behavior & Compatibility:
Generally peaceful but can be territorial toward similar-shaped fish, especially in smaller tanks. Best kept singly unless housed in a large, well-structured reef aquarium.
Diet:
Carnivorous – thrives on a varied diet of frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and small meaty foods. Will also graze on copepods and amphipods naturally found in live rock.
